The Bulletin of Information Technology Research (BITR) is an editorially reviewed journal focusing on new and emerging research relating to applied computing and information technology. Published by CITRUS, the New Zealand Centres for Information Technology Research, its target audience is IT academics, students and industry practitioners primarily (but exclusively) in New Zealand. BITR welcomes submissions from established writers and researchers in the field but particular encourages submissions from new researchers and students, particularly those in post-graduate study who are also working in the field. The bulletin is published electronically four times a year.
BITR accepts papers for publication that are directly related to the scope of the bulletin and which might from time to time address special areas of interest that we highlight. Discussions on research in progress and emergent research will be accepted. Submissions must be between 3,000 and 5,000 words and submitted as a Microsoft Word document. The guidelines for documents are provided in the attached document, which also doubles as a template for your submission (we strongly advise you to use this template as it will greatly assist the editors in making their selection).
